I can't believe my car is already 7 years old! I am calling Automobiles Anonymous

So I ended up putting 100 miles on the car today getting the inspection. I finally get no codes for the rear o2 sensors, then I get a p0340 code. Wtf. Alternator goes 1 mile from Shop. At least it was a nice day out. Now I am adding a 200 amp alternator to the list of mods and no inspection

I have an '06 GT 'vert. Only car I ever ordered from the factory. She's got 106K miles on her and still going strong. She's been all over the United States. Very few problems. Best car I've ever owned, and I'm 67 years old.

Out of all My Mustangs, my 07 had the lowest amount of miles. 26 months of ownership 26,000 miles.
My 13 has stayed steady at 1600 on the clock and has sat for two weeks now, but it was Holiday Vacation... however, since I still have possession of my godsons gift, the 95 Camaro, while I wait for the title, I have been putting the miles on that instead.
Put a grand on that in 2 weeks. Once it goes to him the Stang mileage will be piling up quick with that RT commute.
I am considering picking up a 2nd car when I buy a 2015. I don't want a 50th with heavy mileage so I will probably buy a 15 Stang and either a Focus or Fiesta as a commuter car.
How you guys don't get tempted to be in your Mustangs every day is hard to comprehend as I love driving the hell out of mine, but keeping the miles low is a friggin trade off...
To remark on another comment... modding is an addiction, but I swore off going mod crazy anymore. after I dumped tons of cash into a 2000 GT, I now limit the mod budget to $5,000.00 per car.

I have 36k on mine. I look at like this. I dump all this money into it to have fun with. Not to look at. I use to drive mine in the winter but not anymore. Even after I installed the stage 3 supercharger and had 410s. Not fun but very doable. Anyway it's been a great ride and I know there will be many more

I just changed my exhaust again (5th time) and I am in love all over again. Most were purchased used so it wasnt a lot of money wasted but trying to get the exhaust tone just right has been the biggest challenge of this car. Everytime you add a mod like headers, or cams, or supercharger I had to fix the exhaust tone. I only put 3k miles a year, the work truck Ford E350 gets 9k miles a year.
