Default Roushcharger HELP

Hey everyone does anyone have on here 2011-13' 5.0 Mustang with Roush Phase 2 supercharger on here. Im looking to get it at the end of this month and I need feedback. I've been to every site imaginable and the reviews I find are short burps. My questions are how do you like the power gains from 85mm pulley and Roush's CAI? Second, how was the installation process is you did it or someone else and what the charged for install? My big question is I've seen dyno videos and I've heard it whine really loud with 82mm pulleys and JLT's CAI, does this whine??? It has to whine, that sound is intoxicating and thats why I'm paying 7k for it. So if anyone has any pics of install, durring, after and any videos of their cars PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

how much research have you done so far? from what I have heard - the roush tvs supercharger is a roots style supercharger and it is a little prone to heat issues when ran at the upper revs for a while. that doesn't stop me from wanting it, though, I like the power band it provides across the board. .. :]

Essentially, I want to build a race car and not race it just have it. So I'am not worried about overheating at all. I dont drive it hard as it is. As far as research, I have done a lot. I just haven't really spoke to anyone who has the setup I want.

You should call up Brenspeed and some of the other Roush dealers and talk with them. They (brenspeed) have been very cool with me and tuned my car better than anybody else with just an email tune. Remember the tune is the most important thing when your go FI.

I did install my m90 with some friends help and frankly it was quite simple. Installing long tube headers was more work thats for sure.

If the SC for your car has the same whine as the m90 you will love it. Mine is as loud as a sumbitch.

I believe brenspeed is around the 750 mark for installation. Not to bad. Not sure what other shops might charge. I would assume most r within that range. I went with brenspeed bc there in my back yard

if you really just want the sound then a roots is great. But if you ever do race it, they are prone to heat and losing power. If you are really wanting a race go with a centri like procharger or what I did with vortech. Back to Back dyno runs 3 in a row with no cooldown time the car kept making more power not going down without a change in anything. My car did 3 pulls first 611 second 617 and 3rd 622. the three pulls were done withing a total of 5 minutes. Not of eachother but 5 mins to complete 3 runs. We were testing if the car was affected by heat soak.

yea but try back to back street runs where you dont have to pull around a return, stop get ticket and hit the staging lanes. repeatable at the track and repeatable on a dyno are two seperate things. On a road course where you have to stay WOT and higher rpm for long periods of time the roots will heat soak. Some not as bad as others, and lets face it, intercooling systems have become very efficient these days.

I've talked to Brenspeed before $850 for installation. Only thing is 1400mi there and back. Does anyone have a Roush TVS? I was looking at Vortech but I think for street use and not racing I think Roush is probably the better fit for me.
