Default A new problem

allright everyone , i moved from socal to northern va , so i went from nice warm weather to cold weather , since my car has been delivered my car keeps poping the p0345 and my tpms says i got low pressure tires , my wheels dont have any sensors so it used to just give me an error now it tells me i got low pressure and i never had the p0345 till i got my car here in va

i changed my alternator last week and once i did that the tire pressure sensor part disappeared but now its back , i have changed my cam sesnsors as well ( both of them ) and still no good , so right now im clueless

any input would be helpful oh and my mods are as following

5.1 l , saleen cold air , comp cams stage 2 nsr cams , bbk long tube headers , bbk high flow cats and x pipe , flowmaster outlaw exhaust , yellow top battery , pa alternator with high voltage wires , 4:10 and suspension upfates which shouldnt matter

Not sure about the code, not my ball park.. but have you tried the simple solution? Check the tire actual pressure? temperature affects the density of the air and pressure and some other scientific thing that us 0311s don't get... I had to put air in my tires this morning for the same thing.

Semper Fi. What unit you get sent to? I was 1st FAST (Norfolk), 1/8 (CLNC), and CBIRF (Indian Head, MD). 0311 2002-2010. Oohrah

Going to take th ecar sometime to adjust to VA weather, and the humidity it is NOT used too.

You could pull the Battery cable for 24 hours and let the ECM reset.

If you don't have sensors in your wheels/tires, nothing you do with tire inflation will accomplish anything with respect to the warnings.

I suspect that when you replaced the alternator, the battery was disconnected long enough to affect the SJB and its settings - one of which is the TPMS system. I'm not sure why it is looking for tire pressures instead of just the TPMS fault.

i disconnected the battery for 24 hours , it did do anything . After i had put in the new alternator the tpms warning went away and then a few days later it showed up again , but the 0345 code stayed even after i replaced the alternator , my old tires with the tpms are on the other side of the house , so i dont know if they are affecting them , the car is runing fine , i just hate seeing the warnings , im gonna move the tires further away tomorrow and see if anything happens

It is entirely possible that they are. If that's the case, airing the old tires up to spec or slightly higher ought to fix that part.

The range over which the TPMS in my original SJB would pick up the wheel sensors was at least 50 feet (and it didn't matter whether the wheel sensors were facing the car, facing the back of the garage, or at any angle in between).

im debating if i should wait till it gets warmer to resolve the codes or to take it to the shop and have them figure it out , from what i have read on alot of other forums , the 0345 code is usually tied to the alternator , but i changed mine out and still nothing , so tomorrow im gonna drive my car a few miles away and disconnect the battery and see if that resolves my tpms issue , if not then im lost
