It's no secret that kenne bells run hotter than others. 20-30 degrees could be from the billet housing. I bet my whipple runs 20-30 degrees cooler than a KB.

So, that argument aside, how much help would it be for a larger heat exchanger to help offset the temperature variance?

Helps a lot. But every piece that you make better helps. I run a custom HE bigger than anything you can buy and my friend with the KB runs one even bigger. We both run 55 gph pumps too. The KB is now history just ran too hot and a 3.4liter Whipple is taking its place because the 3.3 liter TVS isn't available yet. Wait till you see the HE going on that car.

I upgraded my heat exchanger because the stock one started leaking. Not it's fault though, i ran it into a tree stump. At 10psi, upgrading the heat exchanger is probably a waste of money on any of the supercharger kits.
