Yea big deal. They all start as base mustangs and unless you are trying to sell your car as something it's not then who cares...To each their own..

I'm going for the "sleeper" gt look myself...Kinda hard with a 2013 gt but you won't know my car is modded till you see the tail lights pulling away from you...

Why can't we just call it a Shelby GT500 Tribute and call it a day, good read though was fun.

On another note my 2013 GT has been mistaken for a Shelby and it has it's stock GT badges no stripes. One guy just assumed it was because it was bright green....
