Default window not popping up

Not sure how this can be related, besides the fact that they're both electrical, but I just had the alternator replaced on my '08 GT, and now my window doesn't pop back up when I shut the door. ???

You have to reset the function. With the door closed open the window and hold down the open button for several seconds after the window is all the way open. Then close the window and hold down the close button for several seconds after it is all the way closed.

Yep. That's your answer. You have to do it anytime your battery goes dead too.

I love it when you read your owners manual and don't have to ask a question that has been asked a million times online, again.

But hey, that ****s hard.

OP, no disrespect, just a pet peeve of mine. RTFM

Well, you obviously have enough time on your hands to read and respond to posts that are "pet peeves" of yours, so what's the big deal? It took seconds to get an answer here, rather than digging through my manual. And yes, I did a search. You can ignore my posts from now on, thanks. No disrespect? Oooohhhh kayyyy...

EDIT - OK, sorry dude, just not what I wanted to see first thing in the morning. Not gonna delete this post, but I will say thanks for your input on my cams/deletes thread.

I understand its easy, but just as an FYI reading your manual is always a good thing. There is a ton of info in there about things people ask all the time, and its right in front of you.

I understand if you can't get to the manual, or somethings on fire, etc.

Also searching is really hit or miss, so no issues there.

Take care and good luck on the cams. If you need any help with the install feel free to PM me.

Then I'd better not mention that the OM won't burst into spontaneous combustion if exposed to light.

Just sayin, I replaced my battery on my 06 GT last year and did not have to do any reset. Maybe a hit or miss kinda thing?
