Default n2mb wot

I know there are plenty of other threads on it but I gotta ask myself:
Is it worth it?
I have been tossing around the idea for a while. I am good at shifting but suck at launching.
What time could I expect to be knocked off my 1/4 mile time even though I haven't run the car yet (but will soon!) ?

Does it really make that much of a difference on a n/a mustang gt?
Thanks in advance

Not really. You'd see more advantages on a turbo car where it's easier to pre-build boost, and where you can shift without loosing boost pressure between shifts. The launch control could help you some, but that can also be learned with practice and time.

It will help out at the track, and like siggy said its really good with turbo setups.

For an N/A car, its just plain fun. No lift shifting is an awesome experience, and shooting fireballs is just a sweet side effect

I had it N/A and now on the S/C. it worked wonders and more than anything it helps alleviate stress on the driveline when WOT shifting while also lowering the chance of missing a gear. Yes a launch can be learned, however something is to be said about dialing in an rpm for the 2step and Never having to lift the gas again.

Decision has been made...
I will be getting one soon! I'm excited. My car is running good and I can't wait to take it to the track. I will get a video up when I get it installed.
Thanks guys!

One more question:
Is the install hard?
Is it worth having a reputable shop install it instead to save me the headaches?

n2mb is the company and wot stands for wide open throttle. It is basically a 200 dollar electronic box that you install that allows you to set a launch rpm like a 2 step. It also allows for "no lift shifts". When you are WOT and you depress the clutch you can leave you foot all the way down because ignition is temporarily cut. This makes powershifting easier and quicker. It also is easier on your tranny. Go on YouTube and watch some videos on "n2mb 2 step" to see what I am talking about.

It is awesome, this is the second car I have had it one and I love it. The install is easy if you are fairly accustomed to eletrical wiring. I will say this as a recommendations. Solder all connections you do and on the mustang its easier to go by pinout than color on the harness.
