Anyone using royal purple HPS 5w30?
I have royal purple synchromax in the transmission and their 70-140 gear oil in the rear end. I saw the hps(high performance street) oil advertised somewhere and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the fact that it may void your factory warranty!
I was shocked at how it literally pours out of the bottle like water. I'm going to stick some in the freezer and make a video of how it pours below freezing.
I've been running Pennzoil platinum 5w30 for the past 20,000 miles, which is over 3 years for me. I just sent a sample of it to blackstone for analysis, but I tainted it with 4 oz of zddp+.

I'm going to do an oil analysis on it after 3,500 miles. It costs me $8.50 per quart ordering through amazon. I might mix it with 3 quarts of 10w40 next time, if the uoa shows a lot of shearing.

I simply order directly from their website, no middle man. And when I was living in the Chicago suburbs, I ordered on-line and picked up semi-locally (a great excuse for a short 50 mile round trip).
My wife says that when I surf ****, there's too little blood left in one of my 2 heads to multi-task... I can't argue with that.

I dealt with that when I was in the performance business. Amsoil "dealers" would approach me like Amway representatives. Shady shady. I've always wondered if they were related. Still use good old Mobil 1 full syn in my car.
