The biggest thing is I like the wheels... I could just find a set of Brembo style wheels, they are nice too, but for some odd reason I like these... hrm..

Just go with some Powerslot rotors F&R, Hawk HPS pads F&R, Stainless brake lines, and some ATC 200 or Motul 600 brake fluid.

I understand how a good pad would make a difference for breaking.
looks like a cheap upgrade too : ~$100 the front pair

rotors, I heard mixed review of drilled rotors. are slotted rotors better than drilled ones ?

brake fluid & stainless brake lines: does it make a noticable difference ?

Brake fluid and steel lines with a good set of pads will do exactly what your looking for

I have the 19 inch GT Premium wheels on mine too, and I just could not justify spending over a grand on a Brembo conversion, as awesome as Brembo brakes are.
