Its not pretty unless you like to open the wallet to about $10k. If it was me it would have to include a new built trans..... now we are talking a $15k bill. Yikes, hope I dont have to write that check.

I'd love to know how much timing Timmbo had in is BBR tune? 440rwhp with 7lbs seems like a lot imo. I had a tune from another tuner that was hitting 22 degrees at 6k and I wasn't comfortable with that, but it did pull like a freight train. My brenspeed tune doesn't pass 19. he says it has meth injection, I assume that was on there when it blew. Was his blower intercooled?

Oh yeah, I slow down for stale green lights. Every light is an opportunity to practice my launch.

He has the m90 setup up, so yes there an intercooler. How do you find out the timing number in your tune? Did you just ask them?

If the motor goes out the bottom doesnt that usually mean the rods gave out? Detonation is usually out of the top?

You can datalog to find the timing or you can use a aeroforce interceptor gauge that will display and record the timing during wide open throttle. I've done both and I also asked brenspeed what it should be under ideal conditions.

Detonation can cause the rod to fail, the piston to fail, bearing failures. I wanted to know if BBR bumped the timing to make good use of the meth. The computer will add or subtract timing based off other parameters like intake temps, but there's a max timing that it can't go over.
