Angry Dissappointing HP #'s '12 5.0 Steeda CAI & 93 tune

Took the car to the dyno today and was very disappointed. With the air temp at 90 deg. made only 369 hp???? WTH???? Makes absolutely no sense? I wonder what a stock '12 would make? What are your numbers with the Steeda CAI and 93 tune?

A stock '12 5.0 should be putting down about 350-360 RWHP stock and about 380-400 with a CAI & good tune. What dyno and corrections?

It was on a Mustang Dynamometer not sure about correction? First time on the dyno not to familiar with all the lingo.

I was looking at the dyno sheet that Steeda advertises with the power induction package I bought and they have two numbers 369hp I am guessing before tune and CAI, then 407hp I am guessing after tune and CAI..... I only made 369 WITH the tune and CAI!

Mustang dynos give low numbers. Don't be upset, probably around 400 on a dynojet.

I have learned to take manufacturers hp claims with a grain of salt as many of them are a quite generous in their claims.

Dynos are for tuning, not bragging about how much power your car makes.

The only accurate comparison would be dyno your car same day on same dyno. Remember dyno is just numbers, doesn't mean ****.... we've all become dyno queens on forums. You want to see if you make power take it down the track.

didn't want to use the numbers to brag, just wanted to make comparable numbers to what were advertised. on that note did a little research and on a dynojet dyno it would have made around 395 hp at the wheel. I am satisfied!

You're ok.
DynoJet results are normally 10% higher than a Mustang dyno.
