UPDATE:

I now have JBA Longtube Headers plus JBA Catted H Pipe. I also have Bama free tunes for life from American Muscle. I took off my Bassani Mufflers because I got tired of the drone they make on the highway and put back the stock ones.

Am I losing horsepower with a longtube setup but keeping stock mufflers?? If I am does anyone have a suggestion for mufflers that don't drone, sound good, and don't choke power?

ALSO. Are the benefits of Throttlebody upgrade plus Ford Racing Intake Manifold worth it? I realize its nickel and diming but 5 HP from both of those would not be worth it but 10-20 would be.

I know TB and Intake Manifolds really shine when you have Long tubes and CAIs right?

Get a roush tvs 2.3 and some 3.31 or 3.15 gears. Just run an 8psi pulley and you should be good on the rods. Your gas mileage on the highway will increase too.

@Moose, what do you think of the Roush M90 S/C? Just curious. I always said if I was to get one that would be it. But I won't have 5 grand to blow on car parts for a couple of years.

Did I mention in this thread that this is my ONLY vehicle AND it has 150K miles on it...AND the tranny and clutch have already been replaced. She's an old girl...
