Default Stumbling while idling with CAI? Anyone had this?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums but have searched all over for an answer to this question. Car is an 07' GT 5 speed with 40,000 miles. Currently have an Anderson Powerpipe CAI with DBX97 Mass air meter on it, only other mod is Bassani axle back's. The car runs like a champ when accelerating but when sitting idle after starting it or stopping at a red light it will stumble. Never to the point that it dies it just hesitates for a split second then revs back up to 1000 rpms and settles back down to normal rpm range. Does this every 10-15 seconds? I've talked to Anderson Motorsports where the CAI came from about the Mass air meter being adjusted wrong but they said without it throwing an engine code it's possible but unlikely? They said this kit is designed to run without the need of a tuner since it has the adjustable mass air meter programed already. Everything makes since that they're telling me but something clearly isn't right with the idle. This setup was on the car when i got it so I'm considering pulling it off and starting fresh with a different CAI and tuner combo since 4.10's will be going in shortly and the tuner will be needed anyway for speedo adjustments. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Clean the throttle body and MAF...do a search on threads here to explain the procedure if you are not familar with how to do it...and I would get a tuner & cai...from either Brenspeed or Bama...

+1 on cleaning the TB first. Also, that CAI isn't doing you much, if any, good without a custom tune. Typical gain on a no-tune CAI is about 3-5 RWHP. A good CAI & custom tune gains you 20-25 RWHP on the 4.6L.

I'd also replace the fuel filter. Some folks have had filter-related issues as early as 25k miles.

Take an evening and clean the TB/maf sensor/fuel filter.

Throttle body is probably the issue.

Throw on a driver side Oil Separator as your next mod. You will be amazed how much crap is passed back into the intake.

Only nailed for the 57,106'th time this year, too! No doubt the #1 "What's wrong with my car?" question here.

I still have this problem, AFTER cleaning off the TB. I think I'm going to have to do the relearn process tomorrow

I'd pull the TB off one more time and give it another cleaning, just to be sure. Otherwise, try one of your other tunes, although I truly doubt it's the tune. When was the last time (mileage) you cleaned and recharged the Steeda CAI?

I'm trying to figure out my car too. Not a dirty MAF or TB; already cleaned those twice. I think it is my TB malfunctioning or TPS, or a spark issue. 2010 gt Steeda tune and Steeda CAI.
