Default Heat exchanger needed for my blower?

I posted a thread earlier about finally getting my m90 pullied. Do you guys suggest a heat exchanger? I was looking at AFCO dual pass for like 450 dollars for the excessive heat and smaller pulley, but how much horsepower would just the heat exchanger give me on top of the 2.57 pulley? Thanks David.

Do you not have any form of intercooler now? If you have a standard intercooler setup, it should be more than enough to handle anything the M90 can throw at it.

I have the stock setup the m90 came with...so I'm assuming yes it's the stock intercooler. Is this enough since I'm putting a 2.57" pulley and a bigger OD pulley to make up for the slack?

The smaller pulley generates a lot of heat and is inefficient. Ever consider cams and longtubes with a custom tune for getting more power? That's what I did and still have the stock inter cooler. I don't have heat soak issues either.

To be honest, these two pulleys and the tune I'm getting will probably be the last performance mods on my car..I'm 19 years old and have a car that's going to put down roughly 400 hp. That's plenty with a small little blower for a fun ride. I was told the stock intercooler would work fine from my dyno guy, so that saves me $400. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster, your age and 400rwhp, not the pulley and stock heat exchanger.

I upgraded to the AFCO, but only because my stock one got damage by an inconveniently placed tree stump in my in-laws yard.

Yeah I'm not one to show off unless someone deserves it, but thank you...and thank you for your help.

No one ever deserves it. I can pull the driver side tire on my car from a stop light. I get revved on all the time. Just nod and smile... Nod and smile. Let them think they're faster.
