Cell Phone Mount Utilizing Open DIN Pocket Under Stereo
Hello, I'm hoping someone here can help me. I've got a 2007 Mustang GT. I just replaced the Shaker 500 unit with a single-din bluetooth stereo. I'd like to have my phone near the stereo for nav and other stuff. The dash kit I used to install the stereo has a pocket which looks like it might be used for a cell phone mount of some kind. It looks like this: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...s197-shot1.jpg
Does anybody have any products or ideas on how to use this space for a cell phone mount?

This is what I used. If I can find a pic ill post it. Does require trim removal but its easy.

Not really an answer to your question. But your question made me recall something that you may find entertaining. I was a BMW fan and owner for years. Back before "cell" phones and when people still had phones installed in a car a fellow club member had a new phone installed in his NEW 7-Series, don't recall the year, but it was a new model "7" . So the installer picked a wire and hooked the sucker up.
Now the new "7" owner was making time down Hwy 280, a fast highway in the San Francisco Bay Area, and his phone rings. Every time it rang, his automatic transmission locked up. Must have been entertaining?
