caliper cover help

I personally like the matte black ones I put on. They're not near over bearing in person as they look in some pictures. Figured I'd spend a few $ on them since I just finished up my order for my GT500 exhaust + diffuser, Carbon Fiber CAI, Boss 302 manifold w/ the BBK TB, and tune. Was thinking headers but will hold off for a couple months.

Just a quick update on mine. Put the new rotors on, reinstalled the covers, and the noise was worse than ever. Ended up taking off the rears for the day - the fronts work perfectly. The rear clips show where the rubbing is at so tomorrow I will hit the hardware store and start sanding them down. My dremel is at home, 1700 miles away, so I guess I'll do by hand.
I realize a lot of people don't like them, but the matte black with the new drilled/slotted rotors look fantastic IMO.

I guess I just don't understand why people fake the funk putting on these faux BBK covers. It looks tacky as hell and offers no benefit whatsoever to your braking system (containing heat not good). Obviously people can do what they want as this is a free country. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of the mustang as we get enough crap already from kids screwing up their rides adding fart cans, wings, flames, autozone special, etc.

I suppose its the rotor being a bit larger than stock rotors. I haven't gotten around to messing with it yet bc I haven't received my new clips yet. To everyone who thinks its rice....its not. I am by far not a fan of AutoZone specials and Honda fart pipes.everything thing iv done to my car is all custom from which I get a ton of compliments. I do not do anything to my car if I think it has a cheesy look. If you dont like it that's perfectly ok. Its not your car
