Default Pype Bombs

Anybody have an experience with these? I really like the sound clip provided, but unsure how it sounds in person. I have an 07 automatic vert GTand want a nice rumble. I'm also leaning towards the Airaid CAI with touchscreen tuner set up as well. I hvae my eye on a few other performance goodies as time goes along too (hight rise intake, GT500 throttle body, possible cam and/or headers). I just want to go with the right exhaust (axle back, full cat back) because that is probably the next mod I will be doing. Thanks for the help!

When I was looking for axle backs my searching showed unsatisfied Pypes customers. You get what you pay for. Poor quality and poor fitment. That's why I didn't buy them.

Gotcha. I wasn't dead set on them yet anyway. I see in your signature you have Bassani's. How are they working out?

I too have an 07 vert and I wanted these as well, the black ones but I heard the same. Fit issues and drone.
My neighbor has an 07 and has SLP Loudmouths. He said they fit really well and I really like the sound. Deep at low idle Mean at WOT!
I'm going to be grabbing some SLPs soon.

Sweet! I'll look at those as well. I don't want something overly drony, especially in a convertible.

I don't know about the 4.6 but I have them for my 5.0 and they are WAAAY louder in person! The figment is a bit rough but they are definitely worth the price.

Yup I thought they were great at first too. I ended up going for cat backs in the end more expensive but better. Stainless Works all the way they are great!

A decent axle back though would be SLP I have heard them in person and they sound a lot like the pypes but are way better quality.

Thanks for the input. I don't want something too loud. I know in person will sound a lot different that the sound clip on a computer speaker, just wasn't sure by how much.

Anything straight piped is pretty loud honestly, my stainless works are pretty darn loud. I can't wait to get my longtubes and xpipe. I like em loud but that's just me. If your looking for something that's not crazy loud cause SLP is pretty loud too. Check out the GT500 Axle Backs they sound pretty quit until you hit the gas.
