Default Splicing BOSS lower valance fogs to grille fogs: Anyone w/experience?

I've got my boss lower valance + fogs being shipped to my house so I thought I'd try and get some advice ahead of time from anyone with experience..

I intend on keeping my grille fogs and want to run both the valance and grille fogs with the foglight switch so I'm intending on splicing them into those wires.
I've never spliced wires before so I was hoping someone could give me some insight one what to expect and possibly what to do? Tried to find a write up but was unsuccessful. Thanks ahead of time

Okay I have SOME wiring practice. Basically make sure you have a big enough butt connector. All youre gonna do is strip back the cover of the wires far enough back, then cut the wires from the fogs that are already connected. Strip back the cover on those wires. Take the positive wires and twist the exposed wires together, do the same with the negative wires. Then with the big enough butt connector, place the positive ends in one side, and the positive wire you cut from the original wire in the other side. Clamp down. If you have heat shrink tubing you can slide that over the connector before you hook it up or just wrap it alot with electrical tape. Do the same for the negatives. Its a bit of a chore but not too hard to do, just time consuming for us beginners. Ive wired my halos, and more recently, my led lights in my footwells and rear seats to a 12v connector plug. When I did my glow pony mod, I spliced into my led lights and now they all turn on when I plug it in and hit the button.

Make sure it is legal to run all those together in your state. I briefly considered doing the same but found out it might be illegal and decided to ditch the grill fogs. It may be totally no issue for you but you might want to know before you do the work.

I wired my fogs with an impulse relay so that I could switch between them without adding a switch to my dash. I drew up a quick diagram of my wiring:
