I picked up the PA performance one for my 2006 and it was worth every penny. I wish I could find one for my 2014.

The one way clutch really just helps with engine deceleration, by preventing belt slip. Honestly it's really minimum and not necessary. Most cars don't use one and they operate perfectly. Tools can be bought to make the pulley swap easier, as you see linked above.

Because of the lifetime warranty, when I do buy I will go with the PA. Thanks.

Over time my sub and amp would kill the OEM alternators. I think I ran through 4 of them before I got my act together. Ordered the Pa performance one from American muscle, it showed up within 2 days, and I never had another electrical issue with my car.

Either of SR Performance or PAPerformance alternators will work well for a stock replacement. Technically the SR Performance is an "upgrade" since it's 5amps larger than stock, but a minimum upgrade at that.

Let me know if you have other questions!

So I can take off my stock alternator with the clutch and replace it with either of the alternators from AM with no clutch and have no issues? I am replacing because of P0340 and Advanced Auto tested the stock one and it said Open Diode

I replaced my OE alternator with a clutch with a PA without a clutch. I don't see any difference at all.

Do I need to buy the AM power wire with the PA alternator, or can I use the stock wiring?

you can use existing wires unless your wanting more power somewhere else. search "big 3 upgrade". wouldn't hurt to upgrade any or all. good luck

When I replaced my OE alternator with the PA, I did also install the PA power wire. Figured, why not go all the way.
