I had my 86 for over ten years and then sold it in order to get my 05GT. The 86 was fully modded. Stroker, etc... The guy that bought it was ten years younger than me. True you do limit your demographic of buyers when you mod your car bought now that I've learned to save the stock parts I've been replacing on my 05 instead of trying to sell them and get money back from the mods. This way I can put it back to stock IF I want to sell it. This car only had CAI Bama tune, sport lines, and Flowmasters when I bought it. Now it's on stands getting watts link, konis, shifter, etc. basically all suspension stuff that can all be out back to stock if need be.

I'm hoping to keep mine forever. And +1 to never buying a heavily modded. car.
