My 2014 GT is only 3 weeks old and I've already had 2 shift ***** in it. The first one was a white shift **** for the SVE model. It turned out a little bit on the small side. I then got a Barton white shift ****, which is perfect for me. I also have a Barton shifter that will be installed on the 28th.

My shift **** swap out ended up horribly bad. LOL For those of you who hadn't seen it: https://mustangforums.com/forum/gt-s...ease-help.html

I ended up with an aftermarket shifter to correct the problem. I was a little disappointed with American Muscle's response to the situation. Their product, advertised to fit my car, did not fit my car, messed up the threads on the shifter, and the shifter was damaged as a result. I had to replace the whole shifter! Ouch!!!!! Their response was to immediately refund the cost of the shift ****. I emailed some customer service person twice about it but never got a reply. Really, just some indication they would stop pushing the product to the owners of 2014 GTs is all I asked for.

On a whole though, I can't bail on AM. Too many products at prices I like.

Here's mine from American Muscle installed in my 07 GT. It took all of 4 minutes to install.
Screw down the retaining piece all the way then screw on the **** Back it off just till the pattern is straight then unscrew the retainer and use an adjustable wrench to tighten it up to the ball. Then snap on the dust cover.

This is what I ended up with:

It's the SVE shift **** and a retainer collar and jam nut I found on eBay.
