I drive a turbo car as my DD and I love it. I have had both positive displacement and centrifugal super charged cars and I would take a turbo car every time. There are advantages to both systems but with a turbo I don't have to worry about belt issues, it's easier on the crankshaft, I can change the power level with my boost controller anytime I want, it's quiet and drives just like stock until I jump on it and it gets better gas mileage then a supercharger setup during normal driving.

If you want to get a great turbo setup give Bobby (704)614-2074 at S&H Performance a call. They are just finishing their new stealth twin kit and are about to release their Stealth single kit for the 3v.

If you want a conventional style kit then give Jim Napier 505-220-2988 at Trubohorsepower a call. He makes a great single and twin kit for our 3v cars. I have had his twin kit on mine for over 6 years and it's been a great setup.

I actually bought danzcools whipple, its awesome, total power from the dig to the top end and no spool time. I drive a lot of twisty roads and haven't noticed a real difference in handling due to weight. I do also have a full steeda suspension. I've driven turbod cars and they are also fun, but I would take a twin screw over a hairdryer (turbo or procharger) any day. As for the belts, you could get the steeda snout 10rib conversion kit, which I will be getting in the future. You get a steeda udp and gain a few HP by reducing parasitic loss, and a dedicated 10rib pulley directly from crank to snout.... twin screw is the way to go Imho, especially on stock internals
