Default Stripped threads

Front license plate screws on my 05 are stripped. Any ideas on how to fix this without going to a larger screw size. Before someone says it, filling the holes and getting the bumper repainted is out of the question at this time.

You could drive without it. In Texas that is not a big issue unless you are looking for trouble. Or, use bolts.
