05 auto tans shifter problem
The sliding plastic trim piece around the shifter handle is broken on my 05 GT. The rear half of it is now shaped like an accordion and bunched up so bad it won't let me select 2nd or 1 st gear manually.
Anyone shed any light on what parts I need to fix, or a diagram of said pieces.

Mine did the same thing a while back.
I don't know if it's fixable.
I removed the entire sliding piece and it worked fine
but was kinda noisy and looked like crap.
I ended up buying the TCI shifter and like it a lot.
