Thanks guys. I think your info had helped me make an informed choice. Head had won out on this one... No mustang for this Aussie. I just need 4 doors and 5 seats with power! And Ford in all their idiot wisdom only offer a "for the masses" FWD puss bucket for most of the motoring world yes they are OK for soccer mums but not me.

So I'm off to a BMW. I've liked them for years but hate the attitudes of the regular owners. Cash comes before culture with most owners of those Euros (sure there are exceptions obviously). I won't fit into the crowd, but that's OK. I'll have 4 doors, 5 seats and power. Ford has lost a supporter.

Eh, what can you do. Ford could have brought an adaptation of the Falcon here and won the segment that Dodge now owns with the Charger and 300, but they didn't. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

Yep, that's the hole in Ford's line-up. It's a head-scratcher for sure.
