2010 Mustang Hood Corrosion!
Hello, I'm new to this forum,
I have a 2010 Mustang Convertible with the hood corrosion problem that I'm sure many of you have or have seen. After over a year of getting nowhere with Ford I am considering taking the step to sue Ford in order to fix the corrosion issue on my Mustang. Pains me to see such a beautiful car look so bad! I wish my 2010 held up as good as my 1994 GT Convertible.
I would like to gauge the level of involvement some of you would take. As I am making my case, I thought it would be a great idea to show pictures of other Mustangs' with the same problem and have affidavits from their owners to present as evidence in court. I'm just trying to gage whether any of you would be willing to help? Any other ideas or advice would be welcome. I know there are 1000's of Mustang owners with the same issue.
If I get a positive response, I will post links for submission of pictures and affidavits. The affidavits would need to be signed in front of a notary.
Thank you, Paul

I will post mine later today or tomorrow. If you are curious as to what it looks like, just do an internet search for: Mustang hood corrosion or rust. Then select images. No shortage of pictures posted on the internet. I believe there are some videos as well.

Picture, sorry brilliant silver is hard to get detail on, and I suck as a photographer. I hope these post, I followed the instructions!
My underneath is bad along the seam. Starts about the middle of the fender on the drivers side, continues almost entirely across the front of the hood, and down 3/4 of the way towards windshield with bubbling spots. Spotty down the fender areas, but almost completely across the front now.
On the outside, I have now 6 areas showing up from an exterior view. I noticed a new one while taking the pictures. It is on the drivers side fender area, very small. About the size of a pea for now. Across the front of the hood I have 5 visable spots, they range from dime sized to about 3" by 4". I'm waiting for the big one to blow off any day now. then it will really look bad with the bare metal showing. I don't go above 65mph for fear of it blowing off.
Only good thing for me is that the car is silver. Never looks clean, never looks dirty. The spots aren't glaringly noticeable until you see them and take a closer look. The look on people's faces is priceless when I show them the rest.
