17x5 Skinnies over Baer 6P Brake Kit
Well I'm hoping people might have some insight on this. I ordered some Weld 15 inch rims/slicks for track. I want to order a matching pair of rims/skinnies for the front of the car but the calipers are huge and I'm not down grading.
So my question is this..
These rims have a 2.2" backspace, can I add a 2" Spacer and clear the Caliper? Is there ANYTHING I can do to get a legit skinny on front without changing the brakes?
These are the actual rims if it helps at all

They should fit fine. Most skinnies fit over Brembos and large brakes.
I would go with a 17x5 and you should be in good shape. You can also feel free to hit up Weld directly. They're very knowledgeable on their Wheels and can answer any questions!

Thanks fellas. I contacted Weld Racing as suggested and spent nearly a half an hour on the line with Gayle. Ultimately she said that I needed an 18x5. I wasn't aware they made bigger skinnies but Summit Racing had the rim I wanted in an 18x5 with the correct offset, etc.
I appreciate the help!!
