My car gets put away for the winter. Up on jackstands, and battery on a tender. 2006 with 18,000 miles on it. Best part about not driving it all the time is it feels brand new every time I do drive it.
I have no plans to ever get rid of it, so it sitting for a few months of year is a drop in the hat to me.

Northern NJ here, and we had a hell of a winter last year. I drove my GT with all season Conti's on it and did just fine. In fact, the last 4 years, I've been driving my Mustang 300 miles a week, all year long through all kinds of weather, and its not garaged. Ive bought it brand new off the lot. Its an '06 Gt with 103k miles on it, and it looks pretty much brand new!
To me its a car to be used, there are many more like it, and it will probably not be a collectible, so why not enjoy it, and not fuss over it.

My '06 GT 'Vert is my DD, I drive it all year 'round. I have good winter tires on a spare set of wheels. I didn't buy it to be a "Garage Queen". Has 130K miles on the clock and I hope she keeps going as long as I do. Still looks like new.
