This is the exact info I was looking for! I have questions. How hard was it to do those mods? I would be having a shop do it so would it be expensive? Would going back to stock springs make it fit? How is your traction? Is it magnitudes better than a 275? The 275 would be the easy route to go because i assume i would not need to modify anything to make that fit, so it traction is not insanely better i would prefer to go that route.

I use 295/55/15 Mickey T's on 15 x 10 racestars with no modifications and no problems

I would like pictures if nobody else does, or post a link to a thread where they are at.

Also do you DD on your 15's or are they just for shows and racing? And that question is for everyone that has 15" rims with slicks or drag radials.

I don't DD with the 15's and drag radials, too dangerous if caught in the rain.
I drive to the track and back with them on though.

Here is an install thread at The Mustang Source.

Not a DD but not a garage queen either. Have only been caught in the rain once and it was a downpour. The key is of course to drive sensibly according to the weather conditions. The skinnes up front are actually more of a concern than the drag radials.

I use early GT500 rims and staggered tires for DD activities as pictured here.

I know a guy from Canada that brought his Shelby down to NH to get dyno tuned. On the way home in the rain about 2 miles from his house, on a straight road and only going 40 mph, the rear end just skated out and came around with no warning. Bang, wrecked Shelby.

That's pretty unlucky. I have drove around on tires as bald as can be for months through storms and never had an issue. Just drive slow and careful.
