I don't know if this applies to you and your wife, but mustangs have a strong aftermarket for parts and upgrades over OEM. Its a big reason why many of us on here enjoy modifying our cars.
Another good point.

She has read several reviews and I think she is leaning toward the Mustang there seems to be more room in Mustang for 2 people. The Camaro is tight and I am six foot tall and hardly have any head room.

Test drive it. When you sit inside it, it's a no brainer. You feel like you're looking out of a bunker or tank through a little + opening in the wall, totally disconnected from the rest of the world. It's also hard to see out of the tiny rear windshield and the blind spots are ungodly big.

Good luck. The Mustang is a better car.

I don't discuss the bail out, on orders from my doctor.

I'm glad you made the switch to a better brand. Ford and Dodge/Ram both make great trucks. I have had two Ford trucks but my past two trucks were Ram 1500s and I was extremely impressed with their advancements and improvements in the past ten years.

I've driven both (work for a used car dealership). While the Camaro is nice, the Mustang is more "user friendly". It's a much easier car to live with on a day to day basis. Have her drive both, I'm sure you'll end up with the Mustang.

Pffffft.....If you want a great v8, with a good resale value, I'd go with the 2015 Camaro Z/28. It's got the 7.0L (427cid) Engine from the last Z06, a great suspension, huge breaks, etc.

I personally don't like the looks of either 2013+ models, I much prefer the styling of the 2011-20112 mustangs, but that doesn't all that much matter (not my decision obviously).

the LS3 though is a hard to beat engine.

Resale not good on any of these cars a Z28, ZL1, SS, Cobra, Roush, GT there are many used one sitting around with huge discounts and many of these cars have very low miles on them.

My research shows the Boss 302 seems to do the best with resale.

Although I like the 2011-2012 I like the 2014 better interior looks better IMO and I like the exterior styling better too.

Good luck finding one. Even with a $75k+ price tag, most, if not all, were pre sold to racers and collectors.

There's a 2014 model going for 50 something on http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28-New-2014-Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28-505hp-7-0L-427-Engine-/301455170184?forcerrptr=true&hash=item463020da88&item=301455170184&pt=US_Cars_Trucks. Doesn't seem to hard to find to me

Good news guys; my wife decided on the Mustang. Below is what I wrote on another thread.

I finalized negotiations on a 2014 Race Red GT Premium with 4,400 miles. This car does not have a blemish on it; I had a chance over a week plus to take it out 2 times for over 3 hours total. I was able to talk to owner he had his 2nd kid on the way and wife made him trade on Hyundai Sonata. It has 2 years 4 months left on factory warranty clean car fax not damage or no warranty work at dealer. Car listed for $38,665 I am looking at MSRP as I write this. They had it special internet pricing of $27,995 I was not ready to buy until next summer when I free up a bunch of cash because getting daughters college paid for. I went ahead and bought it early because I got it for $25,400 plus tax, title and license they did hit me with $199 fee which I wasn't to happy about. I told my wife let's wait until summer unless I can get them down to $26,000 and I did better that that could not believe the deal I got.

Christmas day was 50 degrees and we spent over 3 hours just cruising. No mods but axle back mufflers love the sound!
