Default I Need Help

I need help from the mustang family. I am not very familiar with the S197s, but I am looking to buying one I have found one for a decent price ( on my budget ). But I am kind of hesitant on it because of the car faxs. I need your guys opinions on it. If I should go for it or back away from it. Here is the link for the carfaxs:http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory...HT82H585154372

Is it worth it? Hard to say. How much are they asking for it, and what overall condition is it in? The accident reported seems like it was minor. It seems the owner of the car at the time, just backed into another car.

Here is the actual website for the car http://www.globalautomotiveonline.co...9/Details.aspx I looked at the car in person once, but didn't have much time cause it was rainy it looked like the stain was gone and the front part of the interior was real clean.

$13k for close to 100k miles? I'd see how much you could get them down to.

Just my two cents:

I would not buy it. It has been auctioned too many times. I assume the high mileage made it a non-seller and some dealers kept it moving along in the auction system. The accident does sound like it may have been minor, but it is still an accident. The problem with that is there are people who will absolutely stay away from any vehicle that has had accident damage. This could be a problem for you if you ever decide to sell it.

Bottom line is there are many of these Mustangs out there, don't settle. If you think it is sketchy enough to ask for other's opinions, you probably already know to stay away from it. I say keep searching and find yourself one that you can be comfortable buying.

Best of luck to you whatever route you decide.

Minor accident + 3 auctions in about a year + it looks like it needs a good detail + $13k = I wouldn't touch it.

$13k what a ripoff. That's WAY too high. Move on.

yikes! from the photos, the seats are in terrible condition. toddlers do some DAMAGE in the back seat. and the CD player in the dash was absolutely a hack job. (im MECP certified and that is NOT waht a clean install should look like.) I would feel bad if you spent 13k on this. id offer 8k due to the miles and condition. take the other 4k and severely detail the seats and re do the chopped up dash. best of luck in your hunting! on a side note, check into buying a car out of state in a place that has no sales tax if going through a dealer. and drive it home. I bought my car in Oregon (no sales tax) and moved to Arizona 2 days later.
