Smile Seats: 2008 vs 2014

I used to own a 2008 GT convertible. I really liked the car, but I sold it because I found the seats too uncomfortable. To me, they felt flat and unsupportive.

I'm looking to get a 2014 GT or GT/CS, convertible, and I am hoping the seats have more padding in the bottom. Doers anybody know if the 2010-2014 seats are different than the 2005-2009 models? No dealer around me has any 2014 models to compare.

Thank you.

Can only tell you that my 14 vert premium seats are very comfortable. Firm for sure though. A bit more comfortable than my sons 07 cs coupe. Also, I like a very firm seats so ymmv.

Call me crazy.....but why don't you go sit in one and see how it feels for yourself?

2010+ have the same seats. I refuse to believe there are not any 2010-2014 Mustangs at any dealers in the OPs area.

I found ONE--a 2011 about 50 miles away. I guess I'll have to make the trip!

Sometimes you gotta believe. We don't all live in areas where you have tons of choices.

I have a '13 CS convertible and love the seats. I love the suede inserts instead of being completely leather - much more comfortable IMO.

I had both & honestly don't think there's any difference between the two.

The Mustang is a sports coupe and not a luxury car. As such, the seat is designed with driver feedback in mind. For the OP the 2014's may only be 'less' uncomfortable than the 2008.
