Default bogs down while shifting gears

I have a 2008 gt and off and on have a problem during shifting. mainly between first and second ill push the gas pedal and the car feels like it bogs down or loses power and takes a little while for it to catch up so to say. no lights on on the dash. I just cleaned my throttle body and maf sensor and changed my fuel filter two days ago and the symptom just happened today....AGAIN..... A few months ago the gear light came on the dash and lost a ton of power and couldnt accelerate. I turned the car off then on and it was like it didnt happen at all. that same symbol has not happened since.....are the two correlated? any help is much appreciated

Don't do that.

What were the circumstances when the wrench light came on.

And list any mods to the car.

If this was under heavy acceleration or any instance when a wheel might lose traction, then turn off TCS. TCS will cut spark or kill power by some means.

Have you ever tried to let off and get back on the throttle pretty quickly while it happens?

Does it happen during a rapid throttle application?

Mine does this occasionally. I think it is related to the throttle body. Something in the mechnical function of the gears. It's just a guess.

Sorry for late response. It's under normal driving conditions. Slow driving to getting on it. Today it was doing it pretty bad. It feels like I cant accelerate and the car just loses power

If it were me I would be checking all of the simple things. Intake tubing, spark plugs, fuel filter, clrsning the MAF and throttle body.

Your description is just slightly lacking. Does it do it all the time? Is it intermitant?

Bogging to me is usually when you are launching and shift poorly. Or not giving it enough fuel...

It could be tune related but I'm really not sure what tune you are running or if it's a custom one or not...
