It's not worth anymore than a regular 2006 Mustang GT.

This.

While you might not get "full credit" for all your accessories they are worth something especially if you where going to do it anyways. statement is really dumb! not worth more? you could buy it and trade someone the supercharger for there manifold and I bet they would hand you a couple grand so it is worth more.

I would pass. No way I would buy a fake Shelby and be able to show myself in public.

Plus, way overpriced for a 2006 GT and the 2 accident thing is a no-go for me.

Multiple accidents lowers the value, even if it wasn't them at fault.

Mods are hit or miss, heavily modded like that IMO adds a little bit to the value at most.

I wouldn't be put off by the two accident history if they were just minor fender benders but I definitely agree that the car is way overpriced at $18k. I'd put it somewhere around 12-13k.

Edmunds puts it at $15,000 for dealer retail, in his area for an outstanding condition 06 GT with those miles.
As others have said, there is a lot of mod money in it, if you like it, make an offer, but they probably think it's already priced too low, so good luck.

I have been looking at a 2006 Mustsng GT premium with the following options.
Shelby front clip.
Shelby suspension
Shelby supercharger (claims 575 HP)
Under drive pulleys
Shelby wheels
Shelby badges
TCI shifter (auto)
It has 44,000 original miles and Carfax looks good.
I have the chance to grab this at $18,000.
I think I know the answer, but was looking for your advice an opinions on if it is with the $$$.

Thank you in advance,
Peter
What kind of Supercharger setup! If it is like a Roush or Ford type supercharger.... good! The HP seems like pushing it! Yikes! I had a 2008 with a Shelby/Ford type supercharger & it was 460 HP. ???? To me it would depend on the condition of the car! What kind of guy owned it! A crazy kid, or a mature guy that would NOT beat it to death! I was 72 when I sold mine in mint perfect condition with only 9,000 miles for $25K, so the buyer got a great deal!

The supercharger setup should look like this one below. If it is, I'd back it off to about the Roush 460 HP settings (boost, etc.) for safety sake.... but I'm conservative on pushing engines! I don't like driving grenades! A 460 HP 4.6L will run about like a 2015 GT with less torque, but a very strong high rpm pull! If it is some add on unit on the front of the engine I'd pass on it... run!

Honestly, a base model 2015 GT might be better money spent with about the same performance & a new car warranty, or even any clean 5.0L. GT! For my money, I'd rather have a super, clean, low mileage 5.0L GT than the car you are considering! A safer buy & with a tuner, just as much performance I would bet! I'm not that much into Shelby mods! I'm into the performance! Hope my advice helps you! I've been around hot rods a while... since about 1958.... so I've thought about a few deals!

A copy of my high school car, before Mustangs were discovered in 1965 by secretaries!

Way over priced. $12k or $13k tops.
