it took me a few days to get used to the hydraulic clutch and the drive by wire throttle. I was used to driving my 93' 2.3 lx 5 speed with cable clutch and throttle. took about a week or so. first thing in the morn the car wants to buck a bit but settles down when i go to second. after that its good to go.

Are you lifting your right foot off the gas as you upshift? If not, you'll get a jerk that tosses your head backward.

If you're lifting and not getting the shift done soon enough, you'll get a forward head toss (because the rpms will have dropped too low).

I can't tell from the description so far which problem you're having. But either way, practice will improve your timing of the various foot and hand operations.
