Default Does bigger TB need bigger MAF?

I'm getting an 85mm throttle body and I'm wondering if I need to get an 85mm MAF? I'm wondering because I've seen them for sale. Also, will I need an updated tune? Thanks

I hadn't planned on anything else right now. Just saw that it was supposed to add 10-14hp, then I figured out how to search and found out not so much.I am still going to try it to see if it will smooth out initial acceleration like I saw in a couple of stories. Still don't know if I need a bigger MAF

I would do more reading. most aftermarket TB aren't necessary and are plagued with problems. even going to FI, the stocker is more than adequate. id put that money into something else. good luck

Well, I put it in, just for grins and giggles. It seems to have smoothed the car out. Seems better, smoother on accelleration, less lag when punching it around 50-60. I'm going to run it for a few days and see if it seems that way long term. My just be worth it for the smoothness.

The TBs for the new 5.0s seem to work better than the 4.6 cars. Its a nightmare on us 05-10 cars. Glad you like it.
