Default JLT III CAI cleaning, do I re-oil?

How often should I clean my Series 3 JLT cold air intake, or is that subjective based on how dirty it looks? And does it require oil afterwards? Someone at AM said he didn't think so, that it looked like a dry filter.

Thanks

I just reverse flush mine under a tap with water when it's dirty and leave it under the sun to dry. No re-oiling is necessary.
