How much does a "TUNE" cost for a 2014 5.0??

Look man, I've got hundreds of passes on two S197s and you ain't making 100 at the 1/8th on a stock car with a tune. You need a assload more power for that, at least 100 shot of nitrous or similar. Even with a 100 shot on my current auto, it only made 96 at the 8th on a 120 mph pass. It wasn't optimized but, you get the idea.
I'm going to explain it again: Just pick a decent tuner, like VMP, LUND, JPC Racing, etc. Buy the tuner box from that vendor and it'll come pre-loaded with three decent tunes you load on the car at your leisure.

No, all tuners that write tunes are not equal. You need to do the research on the tuners and figure out which ones do what you want with the mods that you have.
Some of the tune writers are more conservative and leave a margin of safety, others are more aggressive, some focus on torque, sound, gas mileage, throttle response, certain bolt-ons, etc.
Almost all of them will be better than stock as far as performance, you'll be better off with one that works with you on data logging, they all can do it, some do it more than others.
You either have to choose which part model numbers you are going to bolt on and choose a tuner that has a good reputation with those particular parts, or just choose a tuner and ask which parts they have a good track record with.
