Your BEST ESTIMATES, please......
2012-2014 5.0, completely stock, standard gearing (3.15?), automatic. Now add an Edelbrock E-force supercharger.... the basic kit with the Edelbrock tune. That is the ONLY change other than street legal drag radial. Standard Ford convertor. NO other changes. Edelbrock claims 559 FLYWHEEL horsepower for this basic kit. What ET and MPH would this car run in EIGHTH mile? NO OTHER CHANGES! Thank you.

I thought you originally said...... 7.50 at 96 mph....... which I thought was an excellent guess. Or did I misread something. I'm thinking the 3.15 gearing, 10" drag radials AND the low stall converter will soften the launch sufficiently to avoid tire spin. After all, How much torque will be produced at the 2700 rpm at launch?

I did but then revised my estimate when i realised the limitations of your current set-up. No doubt 7.5 @ 96 would be achievable with a higher stall converter and traction improvements to get that extra multiplied torque down to the ground.

Stickier tires e.g. drag radials or slicks
Upgraded rear lower control arms to reduce or eliminate wheel hop
Adjustable rear upper control arm to set pinion angle & adjustable Panhard bar to center axle if lowered
Remove front anti-sway bar (optional) to improve rear weight transfer

Dino, Thanks for the tip with upper and lower control arms. I will get them for sure. I included the DOT drag radials in the original post so the only other change was the E-Force supercharger. So, just a bone stock car with drag radials and the supercharger. I felt your original estimate was very good. 7.50 at 96 mph.

Agree Simon. Good estimate. I wouldn't doubt a bit better, either. I'm trying to go as quickly as possible (7.40's) but NOT have to get a roll bar and achieve the highest MPH (96+) for bracket racing.
