I ordered through AAFES Exchange, its a military car dealership. I was originally interested in getting a 2013 GT, they said they couldn't place any orders because of my delivery date so I decided to go with the 2014

Mustang GT
Why not order a 2015 which appears to be greatly improved?
I have a 2013 Mustang GT premium convertible, I really love it but I most likely will upgrade later this year if I can my hands on one.

Im personally not much of a fan of the new Mustangs. Im sure they'll grow on me but as of right now, the current models look much better.

There wasn't a problem for me, as I mentioned, I originally went for the 2013 model. With me being deployed, it was going to be too long for the delivery date. So the salesman offered the 2014 with similar rebates, I took it.

Good idea, there will be no rebates on the upcoming model for some time and it probably wouldn't be available when you want it!

Wife just got the 2011 GT 5.0 premium Friday night
The salesman let her run it to death, rolling smokies, 80-0 abs test, and multiple cloverleafs/twisties with a drift out of the last one. (yes she can drive)
Red with black racing stripe, 6spd, GT premium
I was very reluctant to trade the 2009 GT with the glass roof, until I saw her grin when she got back from the test drive and let me light it up too.
Holy crap, NEVER buy one of these for a new driver

Usually one breaks it in properly before any burnouts are attempted.
I have a 2013 Gt premium convertible that I treat with respect most likely because I would like to keep it for awhile and also these cars are getting to be somewhat expensive, I am aware of it's considerable power and it is fun to drive but I certainly don't do burnouts as they are not really necessary to prove it's power. The tires certainly don't have good treadlife with normal driving let alone performance use, they hardly are inexpensive to replace, you must have money to burn.
I have other cars for touring, etc but I really love driving the Mustang, it's my toy and fun to drive machine.
Just my humble opinion folks.
To each their own.

Picked mine up just before Christmas. Not my first Mustang, but it is my first GT! Looking forward to putting some work into it.
