Default I'm probably the last one to see this!

I'm probably the last one to see this, but its an interesting video if someone missed it. It kind of supports my feeling a supercharged 5.0L is a good choice for having fun on the streets & the GT 350 is the only choice for the track. The RPM at which power is produced has a lot to say about that. I'd like to see a drag race between a supercharged 5.0L & a GT 350R. Of course around the a track the person driving the GT 350R would be able to get out & order lunch before my supercharged GT came in, but I would have saved enough money to pay for our lunch! It would nice to have one to take to the track a couple times a month, but two Mustangs aren't in my budget! Still waiting to get my GT back from the Roush mechanic. Looking forward to hear that whine!

I love my Mustang now more than when I bought it! I still love to drag race a GT 350R with my supercharged 5.0L GT & see how it does? Seems like it would be a decent race because the GT 350R is lighter of course, but the Supercharged 5.0L has 670 HP.

Around here there are lots of narrow windy roads. The Mustang takes them easily and with confidence. She's wonderful to drive, some days I can do if for hours.... and frankly, she's one of the hottest cars on the road.

A Shelby GT350R isn't in the cards for me, but wow, what a great car it is.

BTW, I really like the stripes on your Mustang D.

The Voodoo engine does come to life in the higher RPM ranges. However, keep in mind the amounts of power we are talking about - 500+hp. the 'weak' V6 producing ~300hp is able to make the car go very nicely without too much trouble. So even though things don't get exciting until you cross 4K RPM - it will still do plenty around town to keep the smile on your face.

I'm on track to pay off my daughter's car by May. After that I'll start setting aside money for the GT350R. My target is to order one late in 2017 or the first half of 2018. I don't plan to give up the current GT. I want 2 S550 Mustangs in my garage! Just so I can be even more annoying and obnoxious. 8*)

Haven't seen it before but it's interesting. I like the big grin the guy gets when he drives the Mustang through the mountains

I did find it a bit hard to believe that the camaro trailed in the 1/4 like it did though. I'm at work so no volume. I would think the camaro would've ended up with a higher top speed at the 1/4 than the mustang due to the higher HP and TQ rating as well as being within 100 lbs of the mustang...gearing, engine RPM to power characteristics?

Thoughts?
