2017 - one tail light out?
Hi all:
Just took delivery of a brand new '17 GT350. Tonight! (It's awesome.) But for some reason, the driver's side tail light is out!? The car has 80 miles on it! The assembly lights up with brakes, and it works when you click on the alarm, but no tail light. So just sitting there with the lights on in the dark, only the right tail light is illuminated. See below. Ideas?

Genius! Ask the dealership! Thanks - you guys are a great resource.
But seriously, I thought maybe there was some setting or lighting button that might be the culprit. If not, maybe it is as simple as something wrong with it from the factory.

there never has been nor will there ever be a setting that disables the left tail light, or any combination of tail lights. and since no matter what we think it might be, it will be covered by warranty anyway, the logical answer is to take it in and have a dealer look at it.

Actually, in some European cars (in my experience) you can do exactly this. I think it is for parking curbside purposes. Just to leave on one outside edge lamp. Anyway, I'll take the GT350 in for its first warranty work with 80 miles on it - and hopefully that will be the last time!

So much for the new 'Stang being the first "world car"! Hahaha.
Well, it's at the dealership now for warranty work at under 100 miles!
Hopefully they will have the parts and it won't take too long to fix.
