Josh Barnett pimpin Lethal Gear on the cover of Fight Magazine!
Just wanted to let all the MMA and Lethal Performance supporters that our good friend and top ranking MMA heavyweight Josh Barnett is on the cover of Fight Magazine this month. He's also pimpin the Lethal Performance t-shirt not only on the cover but a few more photos of him training in the gym. We're very excited about this as myself and the rest of Lethal are big MMA fans and are happy to be a part of the sport.
Josh Barnett and Lethal Performance teamed up a few years back as Josh is a huge mustang enthusiast. He's got several of them including an 04' Cobra, 68 Shelby, 98 GT and his newest addition the 07' California Special. Josh contacted us a while back looking to sponsor him with parts for his cars in exchange for some exposure through his promotions. Little did I know that Josh would actually turn into a good friend and that our business venture would grow so fast. Since we first hooked up with Josh we've seen him fight in several big events. Most recently the Affliction Banned event which I had the pleasure to attend out in California where he knocked his opponent out. It was great to finally meet Josh and his family as well as introduce him to my good friend and his most recent sponsor Dustin Whipple.
After the California trip Dustin and his company Whipple Superchargers teamed up for the sponsorship of Josh and hooked him up with a High Output Supercharger kit for his 07' California Special. Josh is very excited to get back home for the install. To help out in his project we ended up sending Josh a bunch of goodies from BMR, Magnaflow and Steeda so he'll be able to put the power to the ground and make sure he's heard when coming down the street.
Once we have confirmation of Josh's next fight we'll make sure to post up the details.
