Default E.T.....your imput?

i know alot of you guys have had your mach at the track........ i would like to hear tips and tricks to get the MACH in the lowest ET possible. best lunch points (w/ and w/o slicks)...shift points. and any other tips you might have. the car has already laid out a 12.74 @ 108 mph... but with a few basic mods, i want to get at least an 11.9 before the summer is over.

anything you guys have to share would be great. i am still learning. thanks much!

Thats a much better time than I have ran in one of these to date (13.2 @107 is my best [:'(]). In order to answer your question we need to know mods, manual/auto, tires, etc.

its got a cat back, 4.10's and short throw. thats it. it ran that time on a set of slicks. 5spd tranny

not much done to it, and on the dyno when it was getting tunned, it layed down 320 whp w/ 327 tq. i swear the car is a factory freak. had to of been built on a monday or a friday. lol

..no offense but a factory freak puts down high 280s stock...not quite 320 lol. Either that was a wierd dyno or you have a set of cams, or ported heads with longtubes or something. There are a great many mach 1s with all the goodies (longtubes, intake, alum driveshaft / flywheel, tune, etc) putting down much less than that. Also do you have a built rear or anything to support the hard launches on slicks? if not I think yourstock axle's days are limited. What was your 60' time with that run? I'd say if you have a built rear throw on a NX 100 shot, andLine lok. Heat up those slicks really well and launch it off at about 4500-5500rpm- spraying off the line (make sure to have a window switch incase you bog down) and that should have you easily within the low low 12s to high 11s at around 115-117. a set of subframe connectors / control arms would help your short time as well.

non taken.......i will try and scan the dyno sheet print off for ya and post it on here.

the rear is not built up, just got the gears and thats it. i am looking at Mega Bites traction bars and a new set of MT's
the old own welded some boxed cross members as sub fame connetors.... i dont think it was the best of work tho.

i swear thats what it puts down with only a few mods. no juice, no boost. nothing more then what i listed.

like i said, still learning, so questions...comments... don't be afraid.
