Default MACH 1 Purchase

Well I'm new to the forums as you can see.

Well recently I been looking for a mustang gt in preference. I came across a 2003 mach 1 DSG for $4600 firm, one owner, 5 speed, paint is in good condition, rear bumper is cracked, and the vehicle currently has 220,000 miles!!!

Now the question is, is that a fair price, is it a steal, or that's how much they run at with that mileage?

Thank you for your answers

Personally I would never buy a car with that many miles on it - period.

yea that car does have a lot of miles... but they could be highway, which isn't all that bad and for the price it seems reasonable and if it hasnt been moded could be a good purchase

For that price I'd definitely buy it and throw in a new motor as long as everything else checks out good.

200k+ miles on a car that is from '03 means it had no major gremlins and likely spent little or no time in a body shop.

It obviously needs an overall but for around 4k, that is one hell of a platform to build from.
