Planning on the cables being well shielded. No diehard modder, don't have the loot, looking for cost effective ways to make a better run. My best 60 ft. on street tires is a 1.989, would like to get a 1.95 with the same basic tires and drivetrain set up.

Copper is pretty expensive so I imagine that length of cable isnt the cheapest.

Trial and error basically. Just figured out the right amount of clutch feathering. Taking my rpms to 3-3.5k and rolling it a foot or two before getting into it. Each track is maintained differently and all of our tires are different so I couldn't try to tell a majic formula. Out of excitement and adrenaline, both runs with a 1.9x short time I shifted to 3rd early once and missed 3rd the other time (embarrassing as poop with the SLPs screaming). Considering a 13.11 ET w/ a 2.1x short time, I basically threw away a 12.9 run both times. You wanna talk about a little bit upset.

thx man. The track is sprayed alot, but so much that I think the stock front tires sticking cancels it out a bit. It's the entire run that gets counted though and I just didn't stick em. Sucks not being able to drop the hammer on the 3rd yellow. Took every bit of discipline and patience I had. Still on the 1st set of rubber, definately getting Nittos next time. Short times w/ rear battery and good rubber (still w/ 3.55s) ..........1.7x maybe....hmmm.

only reason why i havent done it yet is because it would be a PITA just to rewire power wires from my amp/power inverter/fogs.
