Default C&L Intake System with 85mm MAF - Any good?

C&L Intake System with 85mm MAF
Is anyone running this in their Mach1? Is it worth the money?
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/mach1cnl.htm Its $359 new...
If I installed it would I need to get a tune?
Thanks,
clarehills

I think the MAF that comes on it carries some sort of "tune". Or its an option, I can't remember.

85mm MAF....the one on the gt500 is only a 90mm....come to think of it Joe's GtTT in florida only has a 90mm MAF and he's ~1500rwhp street driven ( now)...in his video he was around 1200rwhp

I have 1 on my car and could actually tell a difference. It sounds like it is breathing now, instead of wheezing.

My only advice is stay away from RPM. They have a bad rap.

how does the car run with out a tune? i know on the 05+ stangs you cannot change the mass air without a tune... if you do it without a tune on the mach.. i bet if you get it tuned it will be substantal.. any one here had it on.. drove it and had it tuned?
