Default mach1 or 05?????????????????

alright guys here it is...well im looking to get a
new mustang because i absolutely love them, but i cant decide wat to get?
now its gonna be my dd and for my next car i kinda wanted a lil bit more style like
the 05-09 gts but i really love mach 1's because of the 4v and its cheaper
but i want to hear from you guys that have actually had experiences with both models
is it worth the extra money for the newer 3v or not?

thanks

I've driven both stock, and i liked the Mach better! It felt a little more powerful, but the ride was a little more harsh (which i like actually).

i personally dont like the new mustangs. so i would say mach1. You never see machs out on the road like you do the 05 gts....and the seats are way better

mach 1 all the way. the mach 1s to me have an edge on performance, and not to mention look 10x better. stick with the new edge

My dad and I test drove an 05 GT a few years ago and those things are damn nice and would make a great daily driver because of their comfort and relatively refined ride. But the Mach is just a straight up performer. Rides harsher (but who really gets a Mustang for comfort? I sure as hell didn't) but the 300 horses that the Mach has just feels different, more aggressive than the 300 horses that the GT has. Both are great cars though and you'll be happy either way.

The Mach is also faster in a straight line, despite some of the articles and tests. I know because i've witnessed it firsthand.

After owing both a Mach1 and 07GT, I say Mach1 FTW!

The S197 GT did have a nice interior, great ride quality and huge aftermarket for performance and styling parts.
