Default Aluminum DS, is it worth it?

I want your guys honest opinion, do you think its worth buying this DS?

I did one and didn't feel any difference to speak of. So my answer is no. I don't feel it's worth $270

On a stock car, probably not. On a bolt-on or FI car, then yes. The lighter rotating mass makes a difference on the longevity of transmission and rear end parts.

well, after i get this cast off my arm I going to buy gears and LT's. Idk about the DS though. Thats y I asked.

You might want to seriously consider the aluminum driveshaft while upgrading the rear end gears.

Technically, it does cut down on rotational mass, and will yield some gain. Whether or not you notice it, or your time slip reflects it, there is some gain. No way around it, Whether or not its worth it or not is up to you man. $270 isn't that bad for a good aluminum DS. They want $700 for an S197 DS!
