Default Went up against a M3

while I was heading home from physical therepy, I spotted a white bmw and when I got closer I realized it was a M3. This thing was gorgeous just to let you know. We were fooling around passing by each other then we decided to go from a 40 roll. He got me about a little more than a hood. Then we did it from a 50 roll, I got him by a car. So after a little fun we slowed down and started talking, he asked if my car was superchared lol. I don't think he knew the difference between a mach 1 and a gt. But in the end hes actually a pretty cool guy and we went our seperate ways.

Was it an E46 (00' - 06')? Just curious because someone I know just bought an E92(07'+) and I was assuming it would rape me lol.
